The Dave Matthews Band is popularly known as DMB. DMB's first public concert was held at the Earth Day Festival in Virginia in 1991. The band's fame spread far and wide right from their first show. Their melody spread like wildfire and the band became popular overnight. The band booked more concerts and as a result fan base began to grow incredibly. The band's first album 'Remember Two Things' hit the market on November 9, 1993. This album was recorded live in August, 1993 at a music club on Nuntucket Island. This album became an instant hit and it was sold like hot cakes. In 1994, DMB signed with RCA and released their album 'Under the Table and Dreaming'. It also got very good response from the music lovers. Dave Matthews Band's second album for RCA, 'Crash' was released in April, 1996. This album reached number two position on the Billboard 200 chart. Then DMB went on a steady tour for almost a year. The band got tremendous support from audiences and as a result all of their upcoming concert tickets were sold beforehand. DMB's third album with RCA titled 'Before These Crowded Streets' was released on April28, 1998. In January 1999, Bama Rags/ RCA released DMB Live at Luther College. It was also a smash hit. | ||||
