In 1990 Alan Jackson had his debut album 'Here in the Real World', most of what he wrote. The album remained on the US country album chart for over a year. Four more singles form the album topped the US country charts making 'Blue Blooded Woman' an instant success. Alan’s next album proved that the talent was real. With five number one hits: 'Don't Rock the Jukebox', 'Someday' and 'Dallas' to name a few. Further number one hits have followed. Jackson was breaking into the mainstream pop and rock charts by the end of the 1990s. Alan cut an album of songs by artists who had influenced him over the years.
- Alan Jackson became the first artist to be signed to Arista Records' Nashville division.
- His 1998 set 'High Mileage' debuted at number four on the Billboard Hot 200 chart.
- Jackson finally reached the peak of the US album chart with 'Drive'.
